Publisher
Stan Abbott
Stan has a long career in National and regional newspapers in the UK, and as editor and publisher of a variety of consumer and trade magazines, for which he has earned a number of different awards. He is a respected travel writer and a member of the Outdoor Writers and Photographers Guild. He lives in the North of England and is a frequent visitor to Canada.
Canada Correspondent
Bob Fisher
Bob is an internationally respected travel writer, based near Toronto, who, as “The Philosophical Traveler”, is also the proprietor of an in-depth travel journalism website,www.PhilosophicalTraveller.ca. Bob is active in the World Federation of Journalists and Travel Writers as well as the Travel Media Association of Canada. He has worked with Stan since the pair met on assignment in Gujurat, India in 2005.
Senior Designer
Barbara Allen
Barbara has been Gravity’s design guru since the company’s inception in 1992, and worked with Stan from some years prior to that. She has won a number of awards for her work on a variety of consumer and trade magazines.
Neil McLoram
Neil’s our web supremo and looks after all content on this site. He’s also a dab hand at writing, when he hasn’t got his head under the bonnet (or hood!) of some website or other!

Martin Smith
Martin is the magazine’s corporate representative in Canada, where he runs a public relations business, near Toronto. A UK-national, he’s bought the Canadian dream, moving from North East england with his wfie and son in 2005.
Ideas
We welcome professionally presented editorial proposals from experienced writers and photographers. All unsolicitored proposals should be sent by email and comprise a short synopsis plus, most importantly, a PDF sample of published work by the author. Gravity Magazines always pays professional contributors at appropriate industry rates.
